What To Do When You Can’t Find a Solution
Decisions, decisions, we’re faced with them everyday. Some decisions are more important than others, such as what am I going to eat for lunch today? Or how should I best spend my money for my business to get the most return? Napoleon Hill said “Analysis of several hundred people who had accumulated fortunes well beyond the million dollar mark, disclosed the fact that every one of them had the habit of reaching decisions promptly, and changing these decisions slowly, if and when they were changed at all.” But how do you make a decision when you really don’t know the best solution? Sometimes the solution you are looking for isn’t what you expected and that’s why you can’t find it. It may be staring you in the face but since you are looking for something else you can not recognize it as the answer.
Dr. Joseph Murphy, author of “The Power of Your Subconscious Mind” believes that the subconscious mind has all answers. When making difficult decisions he says to hand it over to your subconscious mind and allow it to reveal to you the right action to take.
Here are some tips to relax the mind to allow answers to flow to you:
- Sit in a quiet place and clear your mind
- Take a hot relaxing bath
- Before you go to sleep write down the question you want answered and hand It over to your subconscious. When you wake up write down any insights that you received.
- Do a guided meditation
- Be out in nature
Sometimes we’ll never know the right answer until we make a decision. And we can never make the wrong decision because all choices we make have the opportunity of growth.
