I have this theory that life plants what I call “Easter Eggs” in your life to give you messages or signs that you are on the right track.  They are little signs from the Universe that everything is “ok”.

Easter eggs come in the form of:

- Songs on the radio
- Smells
- Incidents
- Someone saying something at the perfect moment
- Gifts from a friend

It’s not so much what the sign is, but it’s the perfect timing of when the sign comes.

These past few weeks my family and I have had some big decisions and changes to make (nothing to worry about I promise, all good).  As I was trying to figure out our next steps, I felt the need to write in my journal...you know and release all the thoughts that were consuming my mind.  Problem was that my journal wasn’t in it’s usual spot.

I was on my way to go find it in the guest room on the other side of the house when the phone rang.  I picked up the call and was annoyed by the automated message.  However, just as I picked up the phone, I saw my journal from the corner of my eye. It was under the bed on my husband’s side of the room.  I have no idea how it got there but I would never have found it there myself.

In that moment, I knew I found an “Easter Egg”.  And this is the message that I heard:

“Sometimes, when you’re going the wrong way,

the Universe interupts you to

make sure you find what you’re looking for”.
