Manifestation Secret: Power of Focus

I have been a manifestation queen in the last few months.  It’s been so fun and exciting discovering what my mind has created.  Just last month, when I read Dan Brown’s “Lost Symbol”, I thought, “I would love to meet a Free Mason and a member of the Eastern Star.” Having never met a Free Mason in my life, I wasn’t quite sure how I was going to make this happen.

Just last week, I met two people within both organizations.  We had people over for dinner and games and my jaw dropped when I found out they were members.  I knew without a shadow of a doubt, that my thinking, my request to the Universe attracted that situation.

You’d think that after years of practicing manifestation, I would be less surprised, but I never stop getting excited about something that I have created just by putting a thought or request out into the ethers.

You see, I’ve trained my brain to think in a way that allows me to manifest what I want.  The ability to manifest is a skill that can be strengthened with practice.  Manifestation isn’t just one single formula but rather a series of different skills that work in combination.

The one skill I want to teach you today is the power of focus.  You must train your mind to be able to focus on a single thought.  Here are a few tips for you to help you do this:

  1. Pay attention to your thoughts.  Monitor your thinking.  Eckhart Tolle teaches in his book “The Power of Now” to be the observer of your thoughts.  The problem with our thinking is that there is too much chatter, too much static.  Excessive thinking blocks the signals that come in and the signals you send out for manifestation.  Start by paying attention and monitoring your thinking.
  2. As you start paying attention to your thoughts, start slowing down your thinking.  Thinking is required when completing tasks and getting work done, but other than that people tend to over think and over analyze everything.  Practice having a clear mind and become aware of the present moment and what is happening in the right now.
  3. When you want to manifest something, close your eyes and picture a big whiteboard in your mind.  Picture you getting a dry eraser and clearing off everything on the whiteboard.  This is symbolic for erasing the thoughts that are floating around in your mind.  Attempt to get a very clear board.  When the board is clear, think of the object or a representation of the thing that you want to manifest and hold the image in your mind.
  4. Focus is key.  Powerful manifestors have the ability to hold a single thought in their mind without allowing other thoughts to come in.  This will take practice on your part.  Hold the image of what you want to manifest and focus on it, not allowing yourself to think of anything else, pushing away all other thoughts that are bombarding you.  Practice focusing with a clear mind.
  5. As you focus on what you want, evoke emotion from what you are seeing.  What will it feel like when  you achieve what you want?
