Imagination is the Key To Success

The other day I was watching my daughter play with her blocks and I was so amazed with her thinking process.   She was color coordinating blocks and stacking them all with different heights and then she placed each one on a paper plate.

When I asked her what she was building, she pointed out that the purple building, the one she is touching in the picture is the “Palazzo, our hotel home”.  She calls it our hotel home because we like to go there once a month to let loose and enjoy the Las Vegas strip.  I’m guessing the other blocks are the other hotels and the whole city is the Las Vegas strip.

I was so fascinated by the way that she was using her imagination to do this.  We really encourage her to have a wild imagination because my husband and I both understand that Imagination is the “Workshop of the Mind” and a key step in achieving your goals and your dreams.

Imagination Key to Success

Imagination Is the Key To Success

Everything is created twice, once in the mind and then in the physical world.  When working on goals, you must first be able to picture it in your mind and pass those images to your subconscious mind.   It will feel like a fantasy at first, and there will be parts of you that may scream out to you saying “That’s impossible, that’s never going to happen”.  But just keep imagining and just keep visualizing, your subconscious mind will get the picture through repetition.  Your subconscious mind will find the most effective way for you to achieve what you are picturing.

When you imagine yourself in your goal, you must picture yourself with as much detail as possible. Whether your goal is to have a more successful business, to make more money, to land your dream job or to have a more joyful and fulfilling life, picture what you want as a clear picture in your mind, add color and smell, make your image come alive so it feels real.

As you are visualizing, induce the emotion of faith.  Faith will raise your vibration which will serve as a magnet to attract to you what you are visualizing.  At first, it will be hard to believe what you are visualizing, but it’s the repetition that will help create the faith.  Continue to visualize, and tell yourself that what you are seeing WILL happen.  Feel the emotions as if you’re already there.  It’s the feeling and emotions that will have you achieving your goal.

Napoleon Hill states in the chapter of The Subconscious Mind, “All thought impulses which are intended for transmutation into their physical equivalent and which are voluntarily planted in the subconscious mind must pass through the imagination and be mixed with faith.”

Sometimes, when it does play out in real life, it isn’t exactly  how you pictured it would happen, but it’s always better than what you imagined.  Keep imagining, the only limitations are the ones that you’ve created for yourself.  “What the mind can conceive and believe the mind can achieve”.

Paint the highest vision of yourself.  Spend the day daydreaming of what’s possible.  You can be do have anything, you just have to put your mind to it.

I really like the fresh perspective you did on the issue. Really was not expecting that when I started off studying. Your concepts were easy to understand that I wondered why I never looked at it before. Glad to know that there’s an individual out there that definitely understands what he’s discussing. Great job.
