I’m back from my hiatus! And I have so much to tell you!

Back in April, the company that my husband worked for got shut down. He was an executive so it was a pretty big hit for the family. We could have easily freaked out about it, but luckily my family understands that every adversity is a hidden opportunity.
We’ve been building a steady IT consulting firm for a few years now and when this happened we knew we had to grow it even bigger and faster. To manifest something, it requires intense focus. And that’s exactly what we’ve been doing. Focusing and growing the business! So forgive me for taking a pause on my ezines! But we’ve managed to double our clients in the last few months, and believe me we’re not stopping there! As I said, success requires FOCUS.

I just celebrated my birthday! I had the greatest week! I had some friends from Toronto come to town and I put on my dancing shoes and had lots of fun. We even saw Bruno Mars and didn’t know it was him!!

On my birthday I hung out by the pool, watched Kung Fu Panda with the family and went to see my friend’s daughter perform in a musical! And, I ended the night with some chocolate!

But I wanted to get a little personal with you…

Last week I learned about a plane crash that killed two leaders in a company I was associate with. These two people lived their lives full out, they wrote books and coached others how to achieve success. They touched the lives of sooo many people.

What’s eery was one of their last Facebook posts…
Just hours before his death he posted:
“When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say “I used everything you gave me…”

It got me thinking… am I using all of my talents?

I started thinking today about my life and turning a year older. Many years ago, my ultimate goal was to make a huge impact in the world, to make a real difference. To be honest, there are days when I feel as if I fall short of that goal…and then something happens and I’m triggered to be more, do more, help more.

There are people out there in need of support, encouragement, love or even just a simple hug.

I am just one person, but for my birthday I ask that you reach out to one person and offer a random act of kindess, love or needed support. The world needs us…
